Hello! And Welcome to the database tutorials research guide.
This is the place to be if you're looking for beginning help with a database, or if you're looking for tips and tricks on how to use your most beloved database even more effectively.
On the navigation bar to the side, you'll see a list of our most popular/most difficult to navigate databases in alphabetical order. Within each of these are sub-pages that you can jump to directly, or you can scroll through the entire tutorial if you'd like to read it all.
In each tutorial there will be information about:
-
How to search (including tips and tricks)
-
How to find full text of the articles you find
-
How to cite the articles you find
-
How to save articles for later
There will also be helpful links to videos and other guides created by the database people themselves if you can't find what you're looking for here.
Of course, you are always welcome to talk to a librarian, as well! We are located throughout the library (and usually at the reference desk), and are more than happy to help with whatever you need!
Happy Researching!
Sincerely,
Your Reference Librarians
