The U.S. Federal Government has approximately 440 major agencies, all of which produce a variety of information each year. Information that they produce includes statistics, reports, books, magazines, toolkits, maps, the list goes on and on. This volume of publishing makes the U.S. Federal Government the largest publisher in the world.
The session will focus on the role that access to government information plays in creating an informed and active citizenry and we will walk through core portals to U.S. federal government information.
