Banned Books Week: Books Unbanned Program

Banned Books Week offers an opportunity for readers to voice their concerns, celebrate free expression and show their communities the importance of intellectual freedom.

Four public libraries in the United States participate in the Books Unbanned eCard program. The program allows teens and young adults, who live in the U.S. to obtain an eCard at their libraries. With the eCard, cardholders may access frequently challenged and banned ebooks and audiobooks.
