Education books shelved in the General collection tend to be more scholarly in nature, presenting original research, case studies, or historical or theoretical examinations of a topic or public policy. They will also discuss learning theory, concepts, and measurement through a scholarly lens.


You may want to search books by Subject or browse the collection by Library of Congress Call Number locate books on a broadly-defined topic.  Books in the field of education can be found in the L section of the library. See the following breakdown of the L section by subject area:
