bug Bug Report:
Mac Java vs SciFinder

Ongoing security problems with Apple's Java installation have caused repeated disruptions to SciFinder users who try to launch the structure drawing applet in a Mac browser. CAS is aware of the problem, but as Java is frequently changing and often unstable there is no definitive fix. Apple has the ability to unilaterally disable Java in its operating systems, and has done so several times already. It's always worth trying a different browser if one isn't working. This problem does not seem to affect Windows machines.
